Cute game, it would be cool if you had a shop or some sort of option to camp, to try and replenish the team's HP between enemies. Also love the cursor being a sword!
I really liked the concept! It’s got a *Darkest Dungeon* vibe—really cool! Great work on the mechanics!
I enjoyed it very much. Well done . Very solid project.
The art and the game concept were nice. It's a beautiful game that I really enjoyed. Great job!
a really impressive variety of classes and abilities that all feel unique and fun, to pull that off in just a week of development is something you should be massively proud of :)
I really loved the idea of this! I found all the Liabilities super funny
I like the game a lot and the I love the art style! It doesn't feel like it hits on the theme super hard, feels like it could play as a typical rpg so maybe the debuffs need to be stronger or more obvious.
We're glad that you liked the game and the art! We agree that the debuffs weren't super obvious when they're revealed. If we had more time, we'd probably have added a more obvious indicator or added a tutorial that explains the system better. Thank you for the feedback!
What a great experience is to play a turn-based RPG in a gamejam!!!
The music, skills and art are great, loved how simple, yet engaging was the UI.
As constructive criticism I'd wish the game had a menu of some sort, no options and no start menu makes me feel like the game is not completed.
But aside of that, please keep developing this, I want to play the full game. :)

Thank you! We spent a pretty long time refining the UI, so we're glad that it ended up engaging and easy to read. We wanted to have a pause screen and settings menu, but we were really strapped for time on this project, so we weren't able to implement it. We appreciate the feedback though, and we're glad you enjoyed the game!
Great visuals and really cool idea! Fighting 2 undeads with 2 rangers where one is undead-sympathizer, another is hugely debaffed when healed by an allie...that was harsh :D
Well thought gameplay - different skills, different debaffs, simple fightning, but so fun! Great work :)
That does sound rough lol, some of the debuffs we added can be REALLY bad when combined with one another. Thanks for playing, we're glad you had fun with our game!
I feel like the game is a good candidate for the steam after some rounds of upgrades!
I'm definetely going to take inspiration from this game's visuals for my next game. It looks super appealing with very little, specifically the characters and how they're standing in this empty blue box with shadows under their feet. SEE, when I write it out it sounds so simple, and yet it looks awesome. I'll probably bookmark the page.
The game itself looks like it'd be fun, but it really isn't my genre.
Wow this game was very addicting! Kinda reminds me of a mix of darkest dungeon and slay the spire? Really awesome artstyle and the attacks are so satisfying! The difficulty does ramp up quite nicely and the audio is also pretty fitting. I feel like this game also has a lot of replayability value making it so easy to just come back and do better and better which is awesome! Great work!!!
We did take a lot of inspiration from Darkest Dungeon and Slay the Spire, since those are some of our favorite turn-based combat games. We're glad the increase in difficulty didn't feel jarring or unfair, we didn't actually get the opportunity to thoroughly playtest the game before we released it lol. Thanks for your feedback, and we're glad you liked it!
A nice experience that was easy to learn, I really like the visuals and the music is super nice as well.
We're glad it was easy to pick up, and thanks for your feedback!
Such a fun game! Every aspect of this game is really well made, it's an enjoyable game with good charming art and audio design. Great work all around, gotta tip my hat!
Really enjoyable darkest dungeon like. Nice art, sound, animation and putting them together.
Really cool art, a solid and complete gameplay loop, and great music and sound design. The gameplay gave me a bit of a Darkest Dungeon vibe, which was pretty cool.
Id love to see this expanded with character progression — instead of starting with all four skills, you could level up, unlock them, and make choices along the way — plus more build variety and a couple of bosses.
Are you planning to continue development after the jam?
I'm not sure if we'll continue working on this project, but if we do adding more variety in characters and enemies would probably be our first priority (apart from generally polishing the game). Regardless, thanks for the feedback, we're glad you liked the game!
The portrait art is amazing and has so much character :D. The gameplay is really chill but there lots of things to strategise. For me the game was hard / the enemies seemed though but it might be a skill issue on my part. Looking forward in case you continue this project!
The art in the game is really good, there's so much too! The music is also nice, and the there's a lot of gameplay! Across my five runs I never did finish the game, it's a tad too difficult for me. I'll probably come back later though to try again! Also, the game reminds me of Slay the Spire, but more DnD-esque.
Had a lot of fun on this one, great job :D
Conrad Stonebridge is an absolute beast, he may be a showoff, but he deserves it! Took him at the start and he was the last man standing at the end. This game is amazing and I love it. If you plan to keep this updated, I will follow you around and post every update!
I do request you give me Conrad every playthrough though
Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed the game! I'll ask our programmer if he can implement giving you Conrad for future playthroughs lol
Really Fun Gameplay Loop
Super fun game. Lovely art style, really cute. The game is really well designed. The combinations of buffs, skills and Worker Experiences create really fun gameplay with lots of replay value. I tried to go back to find the artifacts but it doesn't show up anywhere. I would really love to see this expanded into a full game!
I had a fixation ranger in 1 game. All my foes died in the same round so I got stuck with my ranger not able to attack anyone within the rank.
