How does the game fit the theme?
Although there is no person-to-person interaction in this game that was rapidly made in about 5 days, there are definitely certain scenes that will test whether you should trust or not. For instance, in the third room, should you trust the person who wrote the record? Or the person who recorded it into the computer? (If you can even get there, that is...)

P.S. Need a hint? Find a daily one in the dev-log!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None! All by myself, an Indie Developer!

Pretty nice. Couldn't get very far after the first door lol but I like your pixel art a lot! Good job :)

The aesthetic is great, I love the interface and level design, but I'll be honest, I couldn't get past the first room :c hahaha, good game :D

I really loved the 8-bit aesthetic! The puzzles were quite challenging, and there were a few moments where I got a bit confused about what to do next. Overall, I really enjoyed playing it, but I would have loved a few more hints or subtle clues to help guide the player when they get stuck.

Cool idea mixing the missing-letter object clues into a door code, and the whole memory thing with Dan Doe and the note/dandelion gives it a weird vibe in a good way. I did get why people were stuck on the first room though, it could maybe use a tiny extra nudge early on. Still, super interesting little puzzle game and the pixel art is nice :)

PICO 8 is so nice to look at and pushes you to be creative around limitations.

Although I don't see a strong representation  of the theme. The puzzle mechanic is very strong and forced me to pull-up pen and paper and start putting things together. After multiple tries and visits to my dictionary I managed to go to level 1 and 2. Well done! I just need a minute to look a the sky to reset.

This one actually forces you to use your brain, but it definitely ain't easy First room alone was really confusing but it sure is a nc game

the game seems really interesting and cool, but i can't get past the first room (or maybe i'm just stupid). still seems very nice for a pico 8 project!

Really confusing at first, love the art but i had issues getting past the first part, you could maybe add some directions just for the first level to make the player understand what the game is trying to make them do.

Really love the pixel art, it gives me such a classic game vibe!
The puzzles are challenging in a really satisfying way, and solving them feels sooo rewarding. That Morse code puzzle absolutely got me 😭
I do think a few more hints or clearer clues would help a lot, especially for some of the trickier puzzles!

damn it was nostalgic

I liked the fact that it was simple with an arcade style, but i kind of found it hard at sometimes, i think that it should start with easy puzzles and get harder over time to get you into the mood or am stupid and the first one took me so long hehe.

I get we need to find missing letter. Cool concept! The letter are hard to read making this very confusing. Such as W looks like a V. This game needs more pixels per character.

Thanks! Yeah, pico-8 has lots of limits... I'll take that into consideration!

I tried it, and honestly, it confused me. I was working myself to death trying to get past the first level and I couldn't, to be honest xd

Love seeing PICO-8 games! I have it too, but just for playing. Coding in it is way too hard for me :D
