How does the game fit the theme?
This game plays on the theme of "trust no one" to deliver a short interactive story where you try to find your own killer as a ghost. You can find clues all over your house and retrace the last day of your life, to find out more about the kind of person you were, and who to trust. My game mixes cute UI and soft, pastel color palettes to narrate a story that is both horrifying and somewhat expected-- but only if you stick to the theme and really Trust No One.
Not even yourself.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code was made from scratch during this jam. The audio and sfx were downloaded from Pixabay, and some of the furnitures are from blendkit. 2 Fonts used are schoolbell and Sniglet, downloadable from google fonts. The idea, content, story, 2d assets, code and some of the 3d assets are mine.

Great game please rate my game
A classic mystery game where you have to string together clues and get to the bottom of the truth? Yeah, I'm SOLD.
The controls were simple and surprisingly smooth; the visuals were well thought out, the map felt lived-in, and the story was well thought out.
Now, for the feedback side of things: I initially played in the browser but noticed my mouse sometimes got locked into character movement during choices, so I eventually switched to the download version. In the download version, the issue wouldn't pop up, but my cursor would never disappear and kinda just freeroamed, but it didn't take away from the experience. The sound bite you used for the wrong choices being selected was definitely...interesting, but it did give me a good laugh the first time I heard it.
I was able to guess who the killer was from the first two examinations, before reading the diary entries, but I love how much thought and creativity went into the storyline. Do I wish there was more uncertainty and tension buildup? Yes, but honestly...for one person having to build the storyline, the map, the code, and certain assets? You did really well, and I'm left curious to see what you would've been able to build had you had more than a week.
Great job, and I hope to see more games from you in the future :D
Can i learn the Ui design from this game i feel it's so smooth in some how
The music really sets a great atmosphere, and I especially love the mechanic of searching for the killer after you die! The option to customize mouse sensitivity is a really nice detail too. Though I couldn't quite figure out who the killer was — but after reading some comments, I think I know what to do now! Great game! I really love the sound design — the NPCs' breathing sounds when they get nervous, and the tense ticking of the stopwatch countdown really enhance the immersion!
Well made game Good for a solo developer it did go dark very fast
That took a dark turn at the end. First time I got a bug, I opened all drawers and wardrobes, then I was raised up against the ceiling and couldn't walk through doors anymore. I reloaded and then I could play through.
It is a lot of text, which is not my type of game and therefore not really fun to play for me, but that's not your fault. The story, audio, UI and theme fits though.
So overall for 1 week, it is a good one. Good job!
Thanks a lot for playing! I understand that a text heavy game is not something everybody can like, I did have some ideas for better gameplay but couldn't implement them due to time constraints. The browser version is certainly a lot more buggy than the downloadable one, I'll fix them after the jam ends.
Really well made man! I couldn't figure out the killer though :<
If you search around the house for diaries you'll find out the killer XD This wasn't well planned on my part but I'm just gonna throw the blame at the theme and be like "you should not trust the gameplay" (It's a skill issue on my part tbh). I have plans to make this better after the jam ends. If you reeeeeally wanna know who the killer was, then you can look at the submission description again. Thanks for playing <3
I really like the concept and the UI is charming :)
The game seems interesting, but I couldn't manage to play it the first try cus when opening the wardrobe it puse me off the map
But it seems like it has nice story telling, I liked the music it gave the right atmosphere!
Damn, nice story telling. But I encountered a bug that prevented me from selecting anything in the UI but allowed me to continue wandering around the house. Nevertheless, I was allowed to examine the diaries to reach the end. Good job.
Ahhh good old phsychological trap … your own mind
Nice, great to see fully 3D Entry so far I have rated!
Noice!!
Pretty good mystery game! Great job for a solo developer. Very on-theme.
Really fun game, it becomes very dark very fast... It fits the theme perfectly !
Really interesting game! I really like the concept, especially the idea of figuring out what happened after you're already dead XD
The atmosphere is great too! I really liked the background music. It's quiet, but still somehow feels really eerie and unsettling.
One small issue I ran into was that when I reached the choices, my mouse was still controlling the camera, so I couldn't actually use it to select an option.
But overall, it's a really cool idea, and I'd love to see a more complete version of the game in the future!!
This was a nice game with an eerie atmosphere and a nice deduction gameplay loop. Nothing too complicated but I enjoyed it for what it was. The house could have felt more 'lived in' but the uncanny vibe was probably intended.
A few issues:
- The mouse/camera moved while I was making choices
- Sensitivity / Audio Settings returned back to default when starting a new game
It's really eerie, but just letting you know, when I was checking the notes on the table, it wouldn't let me leave the choice section
Thanks for letting me know, I'll see what the problem is and patch it after the jam ends.
I like your game idea, and that house with the entire outline in white creates a very interesting atmosphere. It really feels like the character is dead
Thanks for playing! I was going for a sterile and not-very-homely atmosphere, something creepy that matches with the mc's memory, If you die enough times you'll see that a lot of objects around you just stop existing.
Pretty good, got some glitches that stop us from being able to progress, if you walk into the desk while looking down it makes you too tall to go through doors. Would like to see more of the story after a patch.
Yes, that's a known bug that I'll patch after this jam. Thanks for playing!
The way you used the theme is awsome I wish ı could play the rest because when the panel shows up for who to trust ı cant click anything so ı tried to play 2 times even though its still a great game nice visuals and audio and making it solo respected for sure
I'll look into that bug after this jam TvT. Thanks for playing!
Cool and fun game! Only remark I have is some functional issues (like for example sometimes I just couldn't click anymore, or was reading a letter and couldn't click away,... but this could be my fault + when you step up a chair or something you can't go back down)
Nice overall (for a 7 day game jam for sure)
Ah, If you collect enough clues you get the true ending (screen starts turning dark and you're unable to click on anything) I really should've given an indication of that, it can be confusing. The inability to move after stepping up something is a bug, I was too late to correct it for this jam TvT.
Thanks for playing! I'll be sure to correct the functional issues after the jam ends to mke the experience better
