How does the game fit the theme?
We wanted the players to second guess every NPC in the game so we created a moody atmosphere and characters who look suspicious even if they are the good guys.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the font which is KN YUANMO

How many people worked on the game?

Wow. Really nice art and ambience overall. Coherent characters desing that good great. Solid gameplay as well. Found the bug mentioned in previous comment as well. A better tutorial/explanation could add lots of value.

Visually really fun game, and quite enjoyable. Some more feedback at the end would have been nice, it's always frustarating to just have "you lose" without the concrete reason. I also found 1 bug where if you have something open(like passport) and press esc, you will have your cursor removed from the game and you can't do anything about it.
Some options would have been nice to adjust the mouse sensitivity and the going back with arrow was a bit tedious since you had to move between different things so much: look at passport, look at info, look at ticket, etc etc. so some other quick button would have been nice for exiting the interraction like Q.
Overall great job!

Thanks for the nice feedback. We will keep this in mind for one of the following game jams! 😜

I loved the graphics. The characters remind me of Night in the Woods. The gameplay was a little confusing. I think it's like Papers, Please but I wasn't sure what to check the ID and DOB against. A tutorial screen would be a nice addition.

This makes me question did we have the same time to our games! This was so polished and the graphics would pass for paid game in my books.

It took me couple playthroughs to figure out what I was should keep an eye out. I started paper taking notes and was able figure it out eventually though. A tutorial or more feed back what you did wrong at the end would help first timers! This was the best looking 3D game I tried so far.

Looking forward to the future of this game!

Holy guacamole this art is insane!

I absolutely adore the presentation of this game it is fantastic and super stylish. The designs are awesome and cute and the spooky vibes really fit the theme. It's obvious there was a lot of care put into the visual aspect which  really appreciate as an artist myself. I find it super cool that you have included an artbook it's honestly the first time I have seen anyone do that for a jam. Seeing all the assets neatly displayed and makes me appreciate the style even more.

The gameplay was admittedly a bit on the simpler side, I was hoping that it would get increasingly more difficult to identify who's lying but nonetheless it was still a super nice experience.
Also another small thing thing, while I figured out how to play I still wish there was a tutorial

Visuals and sounds are just top notch, nothing to critique there, this is a Steam grade game in terms how it looks! I mean your artists guys, they are just great and deserve every praise possible! The game as a whole is nice, yet very challenging, so I unfortunately was not able to beat it.

Some critique:

  • Mouse sensitivity is wild to my taste, would be great if you can add the control.
  • Some tutorial would be highly appreciated for those has has not experience with game in a genre
  • The need to click on the arrow at the top left corner to get out of specific mode is not a perfect UX, consider adding a hotkey to exit the mode, like ESC would be fine.
  • I assume the game is made with Unreal, please configure the FPS cap for the game, my GPU was working to hard without need.

This game is beautiful ! There's a really talented team behind it ! I could see this game on steam as is and still be curious enough to buy it !

While the atmosphere is great, the idea is not that original, aside the fact that you can eject NPCs. Maybe you could think of a more original idea for your next jam, but it would be hard to predict most of the themes.

Such a cool game with great atmosphere!

Guys, are you planning to keep developing this game??? If you have the time and motivation, I’d love to see you explore the lore, progression, and everything around it even more!

The visuals turned out absolutely amazing!!! The characters are fantastic too)))

I’d really love to see this game grow into a full release someday!

Great job, guys! Such a wonderful game! 💛

Aesthetically beautiful, but the gameplay leaves a little to be desired. I wish  there was  more info provided to start, like what exactly am I looking for on their bus pass?

Submitted(+4)

I got a hard time understanding what to do exactly but still managed. Damn the artstyle stlaps! Congratz on making it

I could play a whole game with this aesthetic, visuals were really special, gameplay was a bit boring to be honest but fitted the theme, I would love to see a puzzle game from you! <3
