I just dont know how i missed your game , omg the game + art is amazing. it's like playing those old browser games really loved it and those page turn animations are so crisp
a great game to play, the animations were sick and the world building was very interesting to explore- some issues are that the game tells you wether the person is alien or human (their info states "earth (as they say)"), thanks for the cool game!
cool game!!! i found it tricky due to the amount of learning and thinking required to determine, but it was fun!!! a great papers please esque game with great visuals!!!
I wasn't able to get the guide book working but this was a super fun game, amazing visuals and music :]
The art is amazing, it is a classic papers please experience . it is a little frustrating that there is no real way to reliably determine which alien species of the two that failed the test it is so you get penalized on the execution method. it is also frustrating that you can only sometime read the bio during questioning. overall a very funny and good looking game with good bones
the art/UI looks beautiful!
The sci-fi Papers Please spaceport concept, hilarious "I am not an alien" captcha intro, immersive UI page-turning animations, and stellar character art direction make this entry look like a commercial release! The sheer quantity and quality of alien design variations, world-building, and music pull off a top-tier spaceport border security experience for a 7-day jam.
A few onboarding, shop, and guide UI tweaks for post-jam updates:
- Guidebook & Onboarding Curve: Break up the initial wall of text in the rulebook by introducing new alien species, detection criteria, and tools level-by-level instead of dumping all documentation upfront.
- Tool Shop Pacing: Adjust the shop economy or provide basic diagnostic tools by default so players who underperform on Day 1 aren't softlocked without the tools needed to inspect aliens on subsequent days.
- Documentation Sync: Clean up legacy draft text in the guide that references cut features, ensuring every listed detection method matches active in-game mechanics.
Incredible art, brilliant atmospheric twist, and insane scope for a jam build! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback and rating on my solo jam entry as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
Very cool game! Love the art style! Great job!
Turns out that papers please but in a spaceport is pretty cool. I feel like the guide book could've been a little simpler and less text, but other than that, I've got no complaints. (It was just a lot of text.) The art's great. I liked the "I am not an alien" checkbox touch to begin loading the game. The effects on the main menu and the page turning were neat to see in action too. A great submission for sure!
The art style and sci-fi theme looks very good. The book noted different methods of detecting aliens but I wasn't able to figure how to use them ingame. Other than that, good job.
Yeah we have some text that is not changed for the gameplay changes. Hopefully they did not make it too hard to understand.
Görselleri gerçekten beğendim çok güzel uğraşılıp yapılmış bir oyun. 7 günde böyle birşey çıkartmanız çok güzel.
benim oyunumada bakmanızı isterim 🙏
I liked the visual arts they are really great . need more polish but for 7 day this is amazing progress
I'll be happy If you take look at my game too 🙏
Incredibly well done visuals and audio! Really dig the world-building too
Loved the ending
W game!! i never thought id get something like this in a jam
how did yall do such an amazing job? and 14 ppl?? how did yall manage to not get lost
this is so good i think this game will win prob this years jam i love it
(can u pls try my game too :3)
Amazing game! Even though its essentially just papers please, I can tell you guys put a lot of love into this! The art is incredible with everyone having different looks (even for the alien versions of them that appears for like a couple of secs which is crazy!) I do find the tools being locked in a shop slightly annoying though, I think it would work if there are more levels but with shorter levels, it can be a bit infuriating if I'm missing tools to check aliens if I did badly the day before xD. Though I ended up replaying the game and it was pretty sick! I do wish there were more levels as well (which is kinda asking too much considering the art is a LOT). More ending could also be nice but again, that's asking too much hehe.. Audio and the music was great and really sells the atmosphere quite well and I really like the twist u guys did at the end there. Overall, this was a really fun one with a lot of amazing aspects, the gameplay could've been developed a bit more to make it much more awesome! Awesome work!!
Amazing art. So far, my fav paper please type game.
Surprising to see this quality and quantity of art done in just 7 days! Gameplay was good and reminiscent of Paper's Please which I enjoyed, but still could've had some minor refinement like the items being added to the shop or the big wall of text when you start the game.
I loved the art style of humans/aliens. The art team really stood out. This game reminds me of "Papers, please". Very adherent to the theme of the jam. Congratulations to everyone involved. Great entry.
Very Nice Game. I enjoyed playing the game. Well done, and keep it up
