How does the game fit the theme?
Our game is a reflection of the real world around us — friends, family, neighbors, strangers, and even the people we hear about in the news. In this world, it feels like you can’t truly trust anyone. Everyone is looking out for themselves and their own interests.

The player has a visible Trust Level throughout the game, which directly affects buying and selling prices. Characters may claim that they are trustworthy, but their actions often tell a different story. Money, favors, and personal benefits can influence almost anyone.

From the police to the shopkeepers, everyone seems to tell a different story. The rules change, people change their words, and you never really know who is telling the truth.

The main character has lost their memory and is searching for the truth — and for their father. But they can’t trust anyone along the way.

Almost everything that happens in the game has a reason behind it: money, power, or personal gain. People rarely do something simply because they care.

That’s the core idea of our game: when everyone has their own agenda, can you really trust anyone?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We did not use any pre-made code or assets. All game development and art were created by our team. The sound effects were downloaded from online sound libraries and were not AI-generated.

This is awesome would love to see it developed further!

Thanks for the positive energy! And yes, we’ll definitely continue developing and improving the game after the jam ends.😊🙏👍⚡

It's already really fun and I like the visuals a lot

Given the visuals, I definitely didn't expect this much story depth! Because of Settlers of Catan, hexagons always make me expect a strategy game, so this was a completely different and pleasant surprise.

The dynamic soundtrack was really good too. We actually wanted to include gardens in our own shopping simulator, but we ran short on concept and time. Great work!

Thanks so much for the positive energy! And thanks for playing the game and leaving a comment!⚡🙏😊

Nice little game! The only thing I did not understand was what exactly affects your trust level and the prices.
The ending dialogue is a little sad, but true :)

P.S. The author has an absolutely amazing name!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your comment! Just to clarify, every time you say no to someone, your trust level goes down, and every time you say yes, it goes up.

Aha, thank you!

An interesting take on the theme. It was fun!

Thank you thank you 😊

Really fun game. I have tried out a lot of different games in this game jam and this one sticks out like a  sore thumb. The gameplay is just very fun and I enjoyed alot while playing it

Developer

I’m really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the positive energy!⚡🙏😊

Really liked this one! The trust and pricing system is a clever take on the theme, and the characters give it a lot of personality. My only feedback is that some interactions could be a little clearer at first, but overall it felt very polished and fun.

Developer

Thanks so much for your feedback, and thanks for playing the game!👍⚡☺️

Fun little board game with nice mechanics :D

Thanks for your feedback and for the positive energy!

The girlfriend gave me trust issues. Literally, since I was just ignoring her till my trust level dropped to the bottom. Really interesting mechanics and great interpretation of the theme. The only thing I wish there were other ways to earn money than apples, maybe something more profitable the further you go.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I’ll definitely add more ways to earn money. We’re planning to continue developing and improving the game after the jam.

The game looks and sounds great!

The gameplay is quite unique, too. Essentially a little adventure game, but with some twists.

Enjoyable experience!

I’m really glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks so much for the positive energy!

Cool concept, but I felt like it could use a bit more depth. I would’ve loved a stronger connection with the characters, and I also didn’t feel like the theme came through strongly enough. Still, a really interesting idea. really liked the smoothness of player's movement.

Thanks for the helpful feedback, and thanks for playing the game!

Really fun concept. Tho I did spend a lot of time at the garden to get as much money as I could. Also, it was very laggy for me.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, the game can be a bit laggy in fullscreen mode. We’re definitely going to fix and improve the performance in the post-jam version.

A game with a very unusual backstory! Although the visuals are lovely, I think I would have liked to feel a stronger connection between them and the story I was being told. As it was, the visuals were perhaps a bit too abstract for my taste. Well done anyway – the gameplay is really smooth!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback and for all the details you shared!☺️⚡🙏

Love the twist of that the dad takes your money.  I think the only is that farming apple is not that much fun. But love the combination of object to finish a question like the icecream. And it is so impressing about the polishing of the game!!!

Developer

Thanks for the positive energy! I’m really glad you finished the game and understood the story. I’ll definitely use the feedback to improve the game for the post-jam version, once the voting period is over. Thanks again!

That was really unique and the presentation is super slick. All that effort to find my dad and he goes and does that.. haha typical! Amazing work for a team of two, you work extremely well together.

Developer(+1)

I’m really glad you enjoyed it and finished the game, and that you understood the story! Thanks so much for the positive energy!🙏⚡☺️

I thought the sounds and visuals were amazing! One thought would be something to fit the theme / vibe more then a garden with apples?

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I chose apples because I wanted something simple for the jam, but we’re planning to improve the game a lot after the jam. We’ll definitely think about many things, including the theme and setting.

Goddamn, loved everything! The visuals, the audio, the feel, the polish, the mechanics themselves and the integration of the theme, what a gem , love it! Great job!!!! (only criticism: the money balancing, probably needed some more playtesting to get right values, but otherwise its excellent!)

Developer

I’m really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the positive energy. I’ll definitely revisit and improve it after the jam.😊⚡🙏

I love the visual design, the gameplay was simple and fun, and the game kept me engaged until the end and hopping back and forth to hoard more apples. Great job!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your feedback!

Cute and fun enough game that I have a couple of gripes about. The fact that you MUST steal or pay rather than just walk away is annoying when you don't know what will pop up the first time you enter a hex. It also feels like the "correct" way to play, especially if the game was expanded upon and made longer, would be to just hop around your gardens for a while and collect money. I also don't really understand the point of the police. They are way cheaper to bribe after stealing than just buying the thing you stole. Which is funny commentary, but not a great game mechanic IMO.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Just to clarify a few things so you don’t get confused, my friend:

When you steal something and the police catch you, you can also bribe the police. That’s one of the possible ways to play the game. The police won’t always catch you — there’s an 80% chance they will. And if your city is bigger, meaning you’ve unlocked more hexes, the chance becomes lower because the city is larger.

The reason you don’t know what’s inside each house and have to take the risk is also part of the game’s design. It’s meant to remind you that you can’t trust anyone. Everyone wants money, and if you refuse to pay them, your trust level with those people goes down, so the next option becomes more expensive.

I just wanted to explain this so you wouldn’t get confused. I’m really glad you played the game!😊👍
