The art style is really great. It makes you want to interact more with the environment!
For the gameplay, I found it quite tricky because I’m not used to shooter games, but I also found myself running out of ammunition very quickly.

How does the game fit the theme?
The lore. as the assassin assassinates his targets, he realises slowly that the company that hired him and has been guiding him through it, had been planning it all against him to kill him as he is too big of a threat for both the companies. So the premise being you cant trust your own allies and since you did, this was your last contract.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Tileset for the map
How many people worked on the game?2

The game was really fun, wish there more for sneaking, but I liked the bottle throwings. Game play was also challenging and fair at the same time. Great Job with the game :D
I really enjoyed the game! It was a little hard to sneak around, so I ended up just killing everyone hahaha. I also noticed that some objects don't have colliders, but it was understandable since the game was made in just a week. The gameplay still felt really smooth, and honestly, I had a lot of fun killing everybody instead of silently assassinating the main target!
Nice work! I found it a bit difficult to crawl + move at the same time, perhaps toggling crouch would have made it a bit easier?
I really like how the environment is setup, looks very well made. Enemies sometimes get stuck in a wall but besides that it is cool to play hitman haha
Congrats for your first game jam game!
The game controls well, but I think it lacks of something "special" to set it apart from others top-down shooters.
Congrats! Short but it did challenge me at the level 2, i thought i needed to kill everyone at first though.
First of all: congratz on your first jam, you managed to make s simple yet enjoyable experience! I like the way the theme was incorporated BUT could have been more present instead of being just a lore thing, the controls feel smooth as well. I wish the enemy AI was a bit better with some more levels, but overall good job!!
I liked the overall feel of the game controls! The game was very short so I completed it in basically no time but I enjoyed it regardless. I frankly do not really see the theme reflected in the gameplay itself apart from "I am a hitman". I know and read the backstory, but it would be cool if it was mentioned in-game in some capacity. I also missed some kind of tutorial, maybe even just a text box in-game. Regardless, nice idea and game you developed, good job! Congrats on your first game jam game btw!
thanks for playing the game !! the game was supposed to be bigger with more lvls a tutorial and a cutscene for the story were in the end u are killed by ur boss but we couldnt do that in the time we did overscope and alot of the features that were made did not make it due to not having time to incorporate them in lvls , anyways thanks again for playing the game !!
Congrats on completing your first jam! I love the title screen/torn up the contract screen when you lose (: great job!
Cool lil game that reminds me heavily of Hotline Miami. When walking the ui and ammunition amount in the top left corner would sometimes go out of the screen. And i was flabbergasted when one enemy shoot through walls.
Cute idea! I think visually, the assets are nice but could've used a little more work fitting together, weird pixel size mismatches between the characters, the world, and even individual decorations between each other make things feel disjointed. Gameplay wise, the sounds felt a little off but the gameplay loop itself worked pretty nicely, well done!
Really fun, love a good stealth game. more levels would be fun. and maybe some health regen stuff.
I really liked the game - it felt like a little mini Hitman. 😄 The gameplay mechanics are already handled really well considering the limited jam time, and I think if you want to continue working on it after the jam, you can definitely get it much closer to the full version you have in mind.
I’d be happy to come back to it later and play it again. In the first level I basically shot my way to the target, while in the second one, after a few attempts, I decided it was probably easier to just run straight to the target. 😂
I’d definitely recommend adding a tutorial later as well, especially once you start expanding the mechanics.
solid game, i like the sound effects.
kinda interesting that you only reload on killing enemies.
also there are some tofu characters here (on the main screen contract in the bottom), thats a font issue someone pointed that out for my game too. hope it helps.
good job
Congrats on your first game jam!
I think it's cool that although the AI was basic, it had some good features: enemy knew your last seen spot and didn't try to catch you to the end of the world, player had to be cautious of the sound they made and actually slow down and sneak around, distracting worked etc.
Good job on those details.
I feel that the theme could have been more incorporated into it, somehow.. tho I get that when you are an assassin you don't trust anyone anyway.
1 bug I found was that you could assassinate through walls with "E" :D
Hope you had a fun first jam!
I like the idea, although it's funny how you basically just walk in and kill enemy boss with little to no resistance
really good for your first game jam!
there is still alot to improve, such as audio and the ai being.. not the best, its also quite easy to just beat the level since you dont have to be even near the guy to get him (thankfully i replayed them after that happened lol)
other than those issues i quite enjoyed the game!
