How does the game fit the theme?
You can't trust anyone because turning your back on them ends with you getting stabbed in the back. Later in the story you find out the voice in your head is lying to you too, changing the way you see the world and making you do horrible things.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Neat idea! Sadly I got hard stuck on the second level. I think the game is a little unforgiving that way. But I like the style and the idea. Well done.

Nice puzzle game, the theme was really well integrated and overall fun, would like some more ambient sfx

Excellent entry. Of all those I've played this is the one that best illustrate the feeling of distrust that the theme evoked. Great job on the athmosphere and gameplay.

Most of the game was fairly doable, the only part that gave me troubles was the gunshop level. Pictures are sometimes very finicky and the last ghost blocking the way just wouldn't disappear, leading me to believe that I wasn't suppose to go this way. Appart from that, very balanced experience, if you had to change something after the jam I think looking into pictures may be a better option than tweaking difficulty.

this game executes the theme really well and the atmosphere is great

Interesting and cool game! I felt sort of claustrophobic since the paths (where I don't die) felt tight - which I think is good because it added tension. And the constant staring/billboarding effect did feel unnerving. It made the game feel creepy and I think the theme came through well!

It was an interesting idea! I got stuck at the gun shop, though. The sound design, idea, and atmosphere of the game were really good!

Love the atmosphere, really immersive. A bit hard but I enjoyed playing!

The environment really transmits an uncomfortable vibe. I wanted to look behind me the whole time!. Good game!

You nailed the atmosphere!

made me feel uneasy, in a good way, well done!

Great vibe, and I like how the puzzle mechanics are introduced progressively. Small downside: enemies are sometimes a bit too quick to kill us, and I would've liked visual feedback on top of the audio to make it clearer.

The ambiance is really nice, congrats !

I really like the idea, I really like the story.

Taking photos or shooting seemed a little samey at the start, but when put in the context of the story I think it's great!

Great atmopshere.

Such a dark yet intriguing entry, loved the mechanic and the way it connects to the narrative itself. Only criticism would be the repetitive sounds, but those are small details hahaha Great job on this one!

Wow this felt uncomfortable really quickly so great work on implementing the theme of the jam.

Great work, fantastic expression of the theme and some nice little twists on the "don't turn your back on them" horror gameplay mechanic.  I liked the gradual introduction of new mechanics, and you managed to implement quite a bit of content here for a short game jam.  It got quite challenging at times, but not in a bad way.  I wouldn't say the game was all that scary, but definitely tense and disturbing, and a nice twist at the end.  Fine work!

Wow! Great game! you really nailed the vibe. I find adding a polished menu and new game screen adds a lot to the feeling that it is a complete game(something I somewhat overlooked in my game).
