How does the game fit the theme?
Don't Trust The Game is a short rage platformer built around one simple rule:
Trust nothing.
Platforms lie. Obstacles lie. The level itself lies. What looks dangerous might be harmless, what looks useless might be the only way forward, and sometimes, the thing you're supposed to trust is exactly what you shouldn't.

Pretty fun meta game! Definitely a good troll game that's just the right amount of trolliness. The only complaint is that I wished there were more levels (which is a good thing cos I really liked the game!) The artstyle is simple but effective and the sound effects were also integrated well! I did found a bug that when I restart the game, the controls stay reversed (this is fairly minor though). Overall, I wish there were more content but other than that, it was a solid game! Great work!!

opening with remember this number 847 and then never telling me why is exactly the right kind of paranoia for this, and dying to spikes only to respawn under a tip that says you can double jump made me laugh out loud. tidy little troll platformer good job

Overall a fun experience for a jam. Could be improved with some cool art or better sounds but that is not really the point of this game.

Well done. These kind of gag games can be annoying/frustrating, so it's hard to find a balance. I think you did a great job with that.
The look is simple but cohesive, everything is polished and consistent.
Small notes:
- Highlight was the boulder double fakeout.
- The best mechanic/stage from a pure gameplay perspective was the moving spikes, that was a genuinely very fun platforming challenge beyond being a 'trick'.
- I think the 'mirror' stage might have been better if the mirrored platforms were totally invisible.
I tired making the platforms in the mirror lvl invisible but it was hard to navigate. Other than that thanks for the advices.

Super creative but frustrating (in a good way)
Great Game! I got 20 deaths until I saw the mirrored platforms. Perhaps as an extra feature it would be really funny, especially for a rage platformer, if your character decided to move on its on every now and then just to annoy the player. Its a really good game, well done!
