How does the game fit the theme?
You sort packages and have to find Mimics that try to fool you. Maybe there's something else as well, idk.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
A lot of sounds mainly, all listed in game description. Some 3D assets or parts of assets, also including shaders, were created for other uses before the Jam.
How many people worked on the game?1

Beautiful visuals and a neat concept!
Love how everything you would think would be interactable is!
I couldn't pick up the package after marking it though :/
There’s a collision bug - you actually do pick it up but its stuck in the desk. You either need to “lift it up” a little or walk away from the desk more. I already fixed this, but can’t update the build until the Jam is over :/
masterpiece art
<3 I’ve been working on those shaders for quite some time, creating a personal repository of reusable stuff.
That sounds like a lot of work. Hope it goes smoothly. <3
Somehow I got 1 correct out of all of them not sure how that's possible :'D
Anyways really cool game, visuals are nice and polished, and the radio is a nice addition! Game fits the theme really well, and I very much enjoyed it! Also, I initially clicked on the game because I thought the name was Mimi's Delivery Service lol, it's a song by Good Kid, not sure if it's a reference, probably not though.
Great job, especially for a solo dev :D
LOL, it’s not, but I do like Good Kid :D
Thanks for playing! I sure did learn a lot, slept a lot less…
Prety great gameplay loop, made me go out of my way to break the rules just to see what happened.
Hopefully it didn’t disappoint and you got your stamper back :)
Why is this so relaxing? I know must be the radio.
I enjoyed this game a lot, actually mine have some similar mechanics. The compare and investigate is so engaging, and the cleverness to keep it very physical when it could have been a simple conveyor belt. Well done!
Thank you! I wanted for the overall tone of the game to be a bit gloomy, but not everyone likes that - hence the radio. It provides an opportunity to make this place more your own.
I really like these kinds of anomaly games! I like the concept a lot, very fun, managed to get it all right in one attempt :)
Thank you for playing!
But did you really get it right? ;)
I got fired, had to do a second run to do it right, sadly the mimic was stuck behind the conveyor belt. Great game, enjoyed playing it!
Oh man, second time someone reports that bug - I had difficulties reproducing it :/ You have to just restart at that point. Thank you for playing!
Really enjoy the ambience and environment you created. Loved the creepy sounds, the mimics mumbling from inside the boxes, and their lovely screams as they get burned.
It feels really polished and I love the way it looks. I would be interested in seeing how much more you could've done with more time. because im pretty sure theirs no way to win or lose? You just sort packages until you want to stop?
There’s actually an ending, 13 packages in total and you get rated at the end; I really recommend reaching that point, you might find out something about yourself :)
DAMN I think I stopped at like 10 lol. I’ll have to replay then
The package counter (as an in game object, not hud) was the next item in the backlog :/ didn’t make it in.
It's really fun! the only "bad" thing for now is that it's bit laggy when loading things on the browser version, other than that, it's an amazing entry.
I didn’t have time to work through the web export issues and I know those hitches can be a really turn off (literally). There’s a windows version in the download section as well - it’s smooth!
Turned my laptop into a jet engine XD Fun game idea though!
You might want to use the MIMIC stamp for that laptop…
XDDD
Haha so tactile! Well done, it feels good to switch switches and stamp stamps and to BURN mimics in the incinerator.

This uh, totally normal package of jumping beans for some reason was rejected but other than that great!
Please have mercy on the poor Mimics! MDS really cares about them!
as soon as i requested a package, i thought someone was coming already on a vent or something but it was just a box lmao. anyway, i really enjoyed playing this game and throwing the mimics to burn in the incinerator.
however, i would appreciate if it was more easier to grab stuff on the scale because the object i grab just stays there until i step back. and also i suggest to make it so that u can request multiple packages at once so the stamps can come more into use into categorisation.
overall, this game gave me uncertainty and i really enjoyed playing this!
Sadly I didn’t have time to polish the box collisions once grabbed. A workaround is to pick up the box and ‘lift it’ off the table. Thanks for playing!
Also, the what you described (throwing Mimics into the incinerator) is not standard MDS procedure.
oh thats why i got murderer xD
Wait. What? No. Hold up. Goddammit!
You monster!
Well, I did not expect that ending :-D
Great game, had a lot of fun. Now I will try again and aim for another ending.
--- Edit ---
Yes, now I had a good ending. Nice detail, by the way, with the radio.
Oh man! You made my day! My exact goal was to have someone play it, see the ending and then replay the game <3
Great microintereactions with the environment all the toggles and levers feel good. Choppy on my m2 macbook air in web - lower resolution / render at half res options really help out here. Bigger problem was I could not actually play the game past the first box. I inspected, stamped it normal, put on conveyor belt, lever. It goes and gets stuck at the end of the road. Hitting computer afterwards just says waiting for routing? Tried twice and nothing. Not sure how to continue.
Oh, that one… yeah, you hit a very hard to replicate bug. I’ve sent like a 1000 packages during the development and encountered it one time only. I would just recommend restarting at that point, sorry!
Glad you had fun prior to that at least!
really good graphics!
Sadly that comes at a price of an unoptimized web build… :/
Thank you for playing!
I really like the idea, very nice game. Extremely laggy tho, kinda unplayable
The hitching should pass after everything is loaded in. There’s a windows build as well if you want to try the hitch free version, I really recommend it! Thanks for playing!
Super cool game! Looks really good and I liked the multiple things you used to classify if it is a mimic, especially the need to listen to the boxes. Only issue I originally had was the game was slightly laggy but it went away after a while.
Didn’t have time to optimize, still a bit new to web builds. There’s a windows version if you’d like to try it!
That’s definitely not a mimic! (It’s a mimic.) It’s super cool! A fully functional prototype came together in such a short time. There’s so much that could be tweaked or added. Neat implementation!
Its a neat base, I agree - and I sure did learn a lot making it. However, I like to think of this as a self-contained story.
I wish I could have moved the radio closer to the scale area so I could listen to it while playing! Good tune. Also I like the little touches on the mimics. I wish turning the package so that I can read the label upright was a little more intuitive. That ending is really good too haha.
Initially I had the radio on the table… but it added clutter, plus sometimes you really need to hear if the boxes don’t make any noise ;)
Good points! I hadn't thought of that.
