How does the game fit the theme?
The little blotches you hire to help you finish your painting sometimes turn on you. It could be any one of them. It could be all of them. I wouldn't trust any of them, honestly.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

the shader effect is pretty cool. It would be nice if there was a way to dismiss the text boxes or click through them sometimes, but it's pretty well done otherwise!

Super chill and weirdly addictive haha. The watercolor drip shader stuff looks awesome, and I liked hiring the little blotches then having to watch out for the rogue ones since it fits the trust no one theme pretty nicely. The guide text was a bit hard to keep up with sometimes, but overall this was a really fun one :D

I really enjoyed this game, it's got addictive gameplay and it's beautifuly designed. My issue is that it barely touches the theme. Fact that some of the workers randomly turn on you and you can't predict it nor do anything about it beforehand is not what I would imagine under theme "trust no one".

There's a story and 4 endings that tie into the theme of who's betraying who. Sorry you missed it, I'll make an update post jam that should make it easier to read the chatboxes. Thanks for enjoying it though.

I'm not a peaceful gamer, and the beautiful graphics really captivated me, but I'd like to experience a bit more gameplay, though that's just my opinion. As a chill game, it's very good and cute. Few notes: The sounds when clicking on the pond are a little too amplified, and I can't keep up with the text, there is just too much of it.

One the best looking jam games I tried so far :D. I love the water color style. I found no bugs or issues. Just very polished and full experience. Thank you for making this. I had fun playing through and might pick up the brush again someday o/

Very addicting, played way longer than I inteded haha. Very chill, very cute, very colorful!

I was like " why does this have so many rating it can't be that good" and hour later... "it was that good"

Such an interesting and unique concept. Really addicting too. And satisfying.

Cute chill game, I liked the vibe, and it is funny to explode rogue blobs.

It's amazing, I really like the setting, the looks, the shaders.

The story was nice, the ending felt good.

Feels like if it was expanded, I could play this a bunch.

I had fun just staring at the visuals! I like how there's endings to the game as well!!!!

This game was really fun! I spent time getting to the end (or so I thought) and liked the core gameplay loop. It was a bit hard to tell when a rogue was active, besides the guide telling me, but I think it was fine to the overall experience. I liked the little upgrades, and maybe wish that there was a little more to the game? but overall really enjoyed it. Good work!

Really fun ! A bit hard to keep up with reading and playing at the same time, and the rogues are uncatatchable sometimes, but its a really cool game !

The gameplay loop is sooo addictive and the visuals are top notch. Love it !

A very nice game with fun visuals and an addictive loop. I enjoyed playing it and the style keeps you sticking around. The core gameplay loop is well established and the mechanics are well refined and balanced. This is an impressive piece of work to hand in 3 days before the deadline considering how polished it is.

Well done :)

It's actually had a few updates since the initial release. Also, as someone working on an RTS game, it's eerie how much of that transfers over quickly: pathfinding, resource gathering, base unlocks, hover text became chat boxes, even the fog of war mechanics became the big part of the paint effects. The gameplay itself is pretty simple, it's mostly shaders pulling their weight from there.

Thanks  for playing and commenting!

That explains it! Regardless good job. Experience indeed makes these things better over time. I hope you can take that experience of yours to the next jam and beyond!

A really really really fun game. Incrementals are just a great type of game for me. And the prestige mechanic just makes my heart beat faster. Trust no one was implemented quite nicely with the rogue blotches. That's all I have to say, gonna play it some more now :)

Very polished feel, the coloring mechanic is very cool and I really liked the visuals. One thing is that when the guide speaks if you put your mouse over him the text disappears so at first I didn't know what to do but really good game overall!

click pond fun

Very cool concept had a lot of fun with it. Visuals are consistent and UI feels responsive. I feel like the text disappeared too quickly as I could not get the understanding of what is going on except paint everything and burst the rogues. Overall awesome project!

very interesting concept, not sure what I caught on with the guide but I can tell you having him constantly tell me about rouges and always blocking my clicking with his speech bubble was a bit annoying.

overall good game.
