How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is built directly into every trade: you never know if a customer is honest or trying to scam you. You have to judge their offer, learn item values, and decide who to trust.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Any third-party fonts, sound effects, or assets used are credited on the game page. Some development assistance, including code/tutorial text But i will say around 80-90% was made from scratch.

The visuals and the atmosphere were peaceful and calming, the art style was so cute and really well executed, and the sound design was satisfying and extremely smooth.
Theme-wise, it did align, but it didn't feel like there was any detrimental consequence of taking a bad deal, so the goal of having enough money by the end of the week never felt as stressful as I was assuming it would be from reading the description
Nonetheless, it was a cozy game that I could see myself easily spending hours on if it were released as a full version with different levels, shop upgrades, and more difficult customers with specific traits and quirks.
Good job to everyone who worked on it!
Very simple game with a nice cozy vibe. My one gripe is that , in the games instructions it said "survive" but didnt give a dollar amount so I ended up losing because I didn't read the description. Kinda my fault, but would've been helpful if inside the in game instructions.
Pretty cool game, I wish that there was a way to actually discern certain information out of some people. Because it felt more like gambling rather than hmm I shouldn't trust you since I didn't know anything about these ppl and etc. But still really cool game and interesting take on the theme.
Interesting concept, but the game is super hard I get ripped off every single time! The cozy atmosphere is pretty well done.
From a UX perspective, I would make the buy and sell windows a bit more distinct. Maybe I'm clicking too fast without reading, but I got tricked multiple times thinking I was selling an item for a good price when I was actually buying it for a terrible one!
Good job !
It felt very seamless playing it! I did not need much tutorial to learn how to play it! Very simple game that feel really fun! It would be super cool to have an upgrade shop where you get perks and benefits to improve your efficiency. Then there will be goal to work towards and people will play even longer!
Oh I saw your game played on Lil Bro Games stream the other day. I loved playing your game! awesome work, sorry my game killed your ears... it's my first time making music with DefleMask.
I loved the buying/selling system you implemented in the game; it fits the theme of jam really well. It was hilarious to buy a watch at an inflated price, only to realize you screwed up and have to figure out how to get out of it! The game has a nice, appealing design, plays great, there's a sense of progression, and the game has a goal—it's really cool! Good job.
Nice game it is very polished and fun. epic work.
I like the setting of course and the thrill of trading unknown items :)
very chill game that fits the theme really well! reminds me of potion craft if it was focus on the trading
Great job! The theme fits really well, and the gameplay is fun. Reaching 600 definitely was a challenge
cool game idea that really matches the game jams topic in a different way than the other games
Fun game! Played this on stream and went bankrupt haha. Thanks for sharing it and hanging out! :D
this was pretty chill, I liked the art and if there was an extra pop up somewhere or sometime when you have inventory items to place them on the table that could be helpful!
Thank you for feedback, taking notes 📝. I'm glad you like it.
I really really enjoyed this one! I quite liked the style and theme of the game, and it was extremely replayable!
Got to 688$! A very nice, relaxing gameplay. I really enjoyed the idea of playing as a salesman. Honestly, the only thing I'd perhaps wish for is a bit faster pacing, but that's literally the only thing! Well done :)
well, I make a lousy salesman. Great game though! Played it trough to the end with -$60
Really nice and fun game! i think tho that you could have added some more hints in the dialogues or some way of finding out if their deal is bad or not, and to nerf the unknown offers because they make the game easy.
Fun game!!
Graphics are great, and the music integrates quite well into the game! Both my boyfriend and I really like the idea of having unknown lots and having items to display, it's great! It would be nice to have some way of negotiating prices and not just accepting or rejecting, but that's it.
I like the music.
I made the most money on unknown offers. And the profit I made on resold items didn’t amount to much. So, all in all, I came out ahead by trusting someone and buying a pig in a poke. Maybe I was lucky :)
I really liked the idea of having such a well equipped shop. At first, I was a little confused because I could only sell the items that were already on the table, and I could only add things rather than take them from the table. I think it could be really interesting if the display cases gradually filled up as you bought new items.
Thank you for the honest feedback, the strategy behind is once you place an item for sale, it stays there until somebody buys it or the day ends, so choosing what to display matters. Every day also has a High Demand item, demand affects which items customers are interested in and the prices they may offer, so the player can try to prepare around it, so you can chose to keep an item in inventory to sell it when is in high demand.
