How does the game fit the theme?
I feel anything I say would spoil the game a bit. Play and find out.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some of the UI code.

Honest review:
I liked the game play. It's familiar fare in the detective genre. I found the mechanics very straight forward. The story unveils very well. The narrative is excellent.
The atmosphere was good. The music set the right tone. The graphic design is decent and fits the time period. But one glaring issue, however unfair it might seem to be, is that this game would have been better off with visuals. Even if you couldn't manage them, you might have tried teaming up with an artist. You could still do so post jam. I don't mind playing text adventure games, but there are plenty who likely avoid them completely. I did not penalise you for avoiding imagery.
The game struggles with the same problem other detective games do. Players can just find the answers through random trial and error. The game practically encourages it. I can't see what else you could have done inside of a week, however.
The theme fits well enough. If you had added misinformation, to better suit it, the game would have become too difficult.
Maybe I got the answer before all the clues, but I only had 15/16 recollections in the end. I think I played for about 25 minutes, which is quite long for a game jam entry, so I just left it there. Perhaps I won't probe the deranged mind of SH too much.
Really nice entry!
simple and very effective! It lead me into wanting to know more about what has happened. The memory system was a fun idea.
A really fun game, that tells the story through the player piecing it together through the information they read and put together.
Definitely one of the best detective games on the jam! Lacks a bit of structure maybe, but apart from it has a good story, interesting deduction mechanic and polished look :)
Extremely clean look, sound, and feel. Wonderfully designed!
I've seen a few detective/puzzle sort of games in this Jam, this is one of the best.
The way everything is presented, the way knowledge is acquired as you play, and the way the player uses info they've discovered to unlock more info (without just giving the info to the player).
Well done.
A quick and fun game. I like the way it tells the story and you have to piece everything in the end :) I never got stuck at all and everything seemed to flow nicely, but it could be because I've played a lot of these types of puzzles lol
Very cool concept, its an interesting way of telling a story. The atmosphere is just right for the visuals and its UI layout
This game is a really cool concept! It made me realize that I suck at reading and I sort of got lost on what was happening, but the idea of a mystery unraveled through different text files (with amnesia on top of it) is a really cool idea and was implemented well! Nice work
Nice unfolding of memories. Simple UI but to the point. Details of those marks and hints are just so thoughtful.
The story is really nice, I enjoyed the gameplay a lot! The mechanics are simple, but feel very polished and work great for the game. Well done!
Interesting game idea, but it was a bit confusing for me :)
Nice atmosphere. Couldn't finish it though xD
SFX, music, and the idea was phenomenal. my silly brain got lost after about 10 minutes though. great work!
Loved the atmosphere! Simple concept, but so cool! Visuals, sounds, story - everything is nice!
Love the vibe of this one. Nicely done!
I like the take on the concept, even if the idea itself is a bit simple. Great music, though in my opinion, there’s sometimes a bit too much text.
It's got a nice vibe, the look and feel and the sounds go well together with the theme. I am definitely glad there's a hint system, lol.
Really interesting game with an interesting investigation mechanics. It is also very polished and had an interesting story.
I'm not a big fan of the genre in general but the look was clean and the sound mix was even better.
